What I’m busy with now: reviewing for the board exams
I’m not exactly sure how many of you folks know about this already, but the country’s very first licensure examinations for psychometricians is at the end of the month already and I’m set to take it. I have yet to file my application tomorrow though, so I’m not even sure if I’m actually qualified but I have my fingers crossed because I’ve been (kinda sorta) focused on studying for it for the past few weeks… and there’s also the fact that I resigned from my job so I can dedicate 100% of my time on it.
Anonymous asked: Hi ate, are u from Baguio City? :)
WEW AN UPDATE! (FINALLY)
So this is an explanation of sorts regarding my absence on this particular space for like half a year. I got a new phone a couple of months back and that’s basically one of the reasons for my inactivity on this blog (the other being work). Literally 80% of my life is accessible from my phone now and well, that’s technology for you. From excel files to photographs, there’s barely anything I can’t put on it. And I love it because everything (and i mean e v e r y t h i n g) is there in an instant; you can post photos as soon as you take them, and respond to comments immediately (which is so convenient if you’re always outside and don’t have access to a computer).
Anyway, the point of this post is for me to inform you lovely folks here that I haven’t stopped taking pictures. I actually still post on my instagram, facebook, and everest. And I haven’t been on my tumblr for a long while because I felt that the photos taken from my phone aren’t worthy of being seen by all of you folks here. But I’m here now because that kind of thinking is silly. I have always been for the “it doesn’t matter what you use to take the photo as long as you think it’s good” movement and I should be able to stand by that completely. So here I am, posting from my phone, and I hope you’ll still enjoy my ~*photography*~ even if it’s from a mere phone camera.
(Don’t worry though, I have this new photo project in mind and I’m just looking for the right time to start it. Let’s just hope I’ll commit to it!)
Anonymous asked: Hi ate! ano pong tawag dun sa haircut mo dito /post/82190287839 ?
hi! that one’s basically my pixie cut grown out haha it’s about 4 months after i got the haircut :) why, what’s up?
Greetings from the real(?) world!
So a couple of you folks have been leaving messages on my ask box, wondering about my status as a graduate (i.e. do I have a job, what are my plans for the next few years, what career am I pursuing) and I haven’t been able to respond to them as soon as I wanted to because 1) my laptop’s still being repaired and because 2) I’ve already started working (so there, I have one of the questions answered already)
As for my plans, specifically about what career I’m pursuing, I am honestly still trying to figure it out because really, who has it figured out at 21? :)) Right now, I’m just winging it. You know, seeing where I could be a good fit and finding out what sort of things I would like to do. One way to do that, I guess, is to eliminate what sort of work I wouldn’t want to do and maybe that’s why I was so eager to get started on this job.
Yep, so I guess right now the plan is for me to make a plan hahahaha… check back with me after a while to see how that pans out then :)) In the mean time, I am also discovering what it means to be a UP graduate working with people from different backgrounds… but I’ll save that for next time so tune in!
